Message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents and other web-site visitors,
My name is Steve Austin and I have taken over from September 2011 as the newly appointed Headteacher of Whalley Church of England Primary School. I have made many visits to the school during the summer term and during the holidays in order to familiarise myself with the institution that I have been invited to lead and serve for the next few years. I am absolutely delighted to have been given this wonderful job opportunity and I thank the governors of the school for their confidence in me. I am really looking forward to opportunities to meet with you as soon as practicable.
I promise you that I will work hard as the new Headteacher, on behalf of the children. I have already been impressed by everything that I have seen and learned about this fantastic school. I hope to be able to maintain the traditions and high standards that are a hallmark of the school and to build on the school’s recognised success, taking us forward together as a community into the future.
